IfA, ALGAO and CBA write to English planning authorities

IfA, ALGAO and CBA have recently got together to raise awareness of the issues surrounding local authority archaeological services. The three bodies have written to the Chief Planning officer and Chief Executive of every English planning authority explaining the role of archaeological services, the benefits they bring and the potential difficulties authorities would encounter if they cut or opt out of such services.
