Summary
Allen Archaeology are currently recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic Office Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our head office.
The post requires the individual to undertake a variety of management tasks, coordinating day to day operations at our Head Office, including line management and HR responsibilities, managing the online HR system, health and safety compliance, staff welfare and wellbeing, monitoring staff training, as well as general reception and administrative duties including taking calls and messages, data entry, ordering of equipment and consumables, supporting the work of the Project Managers and Directors by sourcing and booking plant, equipment and accommodation as required and at best value, assisting with payroll data.
The ability to work independently and on your own initiative and a willingness to learn and take instruction are essential. You will be highly organised and highly computer literate, including expertise with all aspects of Microsoft Office including Excel and Access.
Previous archaeological experience is not necessary but a knowledge of and keen interest in history and archaeology would be advantageous.

In addition to the basic salary, you will receive:
