More about the Teaching and Learning in Archaeology & Heritage Roundtables
What?
We invite all those teaching in archaeology and heritage, around the world, to join these relaxed and informal online round table discussion sessions which focus on different aspects of teaching and learning in archaeology. The full schedule is below. These sessions are predominantly aimed at those teaching in Further and Higher Education, but all educators are welcome.
When?
Every month, for the foreseeable future. Please visit https://archaeologytandl.wordpress.com/ for details of future events.
Why?
Our subject is practical, visceral, political and material. As a result, teaching archaeology presents a set of unique challenges. In the wake of COVID-19 we find ourselves faced with the additional challenge of teaching and communicating this in a largely online world. In these sessions we invite the global community of those teaching archaeology and heritage to come together, and to listen, learn and share best practice to overcome these challenges.
