Heritage Consultant / Senior Heritage Consultant (Remote Working Opportunities Available)

Due to an expanding workload, AB Heritage Limited is looking to employ a Heritage Consultant or Senior Heritage Consultant.

The main focus of this role will be around the assessment of historic buildings, with the role involving the production of Heritage Statements, Listed Building Consent Applications, Historic Building Recording Surveys and Conservation Area Appraisals. However, a working knowledge of archaeology would also be a benefit, with input into Archaeological Desk-Based Assessments and Environmental Statements being part of the team’s work.

The position would largely be home based, located preferably within the Midlands or East of England area (though consideration is given to other areas depending on the candidate). Given the working location and the nature of the work, we are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic team player with an existing track record in commercial heritage consultancy and excellent communication skills.

The position offered is full-time (37.5 hours a week) but is open to negotiation for 30 hours per week. Work will involve travel / work away from home for periods of time on occasion. The successful applicant must have a full UK driving licence and membership with the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA), or equivalent.

Salary of £22,918.67 to £29,409.81 (pro-rata), depending on experience and position applied for.
