Summary

The Position:

Archaeological Research Services Ltd are recruiting a Post-ex report quality assurance and editing officer to support Project Managers on a variety of project work. We have positions available for an immediate start.

Are you a highly motivated, go-getter with an ability to complete work rapidly and to deadlines? Do you have a deep passion for delivering value and benefit through archaeology? Are you highly organised, efficient and with a high work-rate? You need to be self-disciplined, able to produce and edit reports and publications for a variety of archaeological projects. You will be proficient with using GIS, and able to initiate and edit graphics in CAD. This post will be based at one of our offices, with the expectation to travel to the Bakewell office for regular meetings and training with the flexibility for a degree of home working. You will need to be prepared to travel for site work visits as appropriate.

Applications are invited for a professional, highly motivated and capable Post-ex report quality assurance and editing officer. You will have experience of producing and editing high quality reports for a wide range of projects. You will have responsibility for undertaking and delivering a wide range of project outputs to assist Project Managers and where you will be accountable to a Projects Manager. You will have excellent written English skills and will be responsible for contributing work on commercial and research-based archaeological projects. You must also have strong IT skills and ideally be competent in the use of GIS and CAD. A good knowledge of British archaeology is essential and a good insight into planning requirements will be an advantage. You must be able to work as an effective team member who can be relied on to deliver to tight deadlines.
