SENIOR PUBLICATIONS OFFICER / PUBLICATIONS OFFICER

As one of the leading archaeological practices in Britain, we are looking to strengthen our core team of professional archaeologists to ensure we have the capacity and breadth of skills needed to maintain our high standards of service. To achieve this, we are looking for talented individuals experienced in post-excavation analysis and report writing to join our Publications team on a permanent basis.

As a Publications Officer at CA you will have a sound knowledge of British Archaeology, experience in the post-excavation assessment and analysis of site records, and the demonstrable ability to write archaeological reports, including texts for publication. The Senior Publications Officer role is similar but more so, requiring extensive experience of post-excavation reporting and a proven track record of archaeological publication. For both roles, competence in the use of archaeological databases and graphics software would be an advantage, as would experience in the editing, compilation and quality assurance of excavation and publication reports. You will need an eagle-eye for detail, a flexible ‘can do’ attitude, and a willingness to work on a wide range of projects and activities.
