We have just published our 2018 Annual Review.
The review sets out the Institute's aims and objectives, and summarises our achievements over the last year. These include
- Policy, partnerships and collaborations - highlighting the external partnerships we have been establishing to help us more effectively communicate the work of
the Institute and its members, and to benefit from sharing ideas with other professionals - Professional development - updating on our work to ensure that we can attract a wider and more diverse range of people to consider a career in archaeology, strengthening both traditional and
non-traditional entry routes and ensuring that professional archaeologists have access to the necessary training to develop their skills - Professional standards - promoting the new practice guidance we introduced and additional training and support we've offered archaeologists to ensure they are aware of and working to standards and guidance
- Accreditation and registration - highlighting the increase in membership and registration and documenting how we access applications and monitor compliance to standards
- Celebrating our volunteers - acknowledging the significant input our volunteers have in the work of the Institute and highlighting the CPD opportunities this offers
