Archaeological Achievement Awards - Winners Announced

CIfA would like to offer its congratulations to all the winners at this year's CBA Archaeological Achievement Awards. We're particularly delighted for CIfA members Sakhsi Surana, who won the Early Career Archaeologist category, and Tabitha Gulliver Lawrence, from Colchester Archaeological Trust, who was highly commended.

CIfA Registered Organisation, Wardell Armstrong, was the winner for its work on Uncovering Roman Carlisle in two categories - Learning, Training and Skills category; and the Public Dissemination or Presentation category. Many congratulations.

The Roots in Time project, undertaken by CIfA Registered Organisation Worcestershire Archive & Archaeology Service, was the winner in the Archaeology and Sustainability category. They also won the Outstanding Achievement Award, which was richly deserved.

Another CIfA Registered Organisation, York Archaeology, was highly commended for its work on Archaeology on Prescription, in the Engagement and Participation category.

The Archaeological Achievement Awards showcase some truly inspiring work, and invaluable collaborations, in archaeology. These highly successful Awards, organised admirably by ArchaeologyUK, help to celebrate the huge amount of work being undertaken across the sector to deliver real value to society. Congratulations to all of the winners.
