We’re looking forward to working closely with the Board, Advisory Council and our members and stakeholders to deliver the transformation set out in our three-year plan which will reinforce CIfA’s relevance, impact and sustainability.
For those of you who don’t know us…
Alex has worked for the Institute for 25 years in a range of different roles. Initially starting as Administrative Assistant and dealing with membership applications, Alex has been involved in running events, publications, management of professional conduct, finance and governance. As interim co-CEO, Alex’s focus will be on attracting people to the sector and the Institute and assuring society of the professionalism of members.
Kate joined the Institute’s staff 20 years ago as Training & Standards Coordinator working on professional standards, skills and CPD initiatives. As interim co-CEO, Kate’s focus will be on learning, skills and influence: developing our existing qualifications and CPD offer and promoting the value our members deliver for society.
Kate says ‘Twenty years (last month) after starting my dream job at CIfA, I’m delighted to have the opportunity to step-up and lead the Institute with Alex and the Board of Directors. I was encouraged to join the Institute right at the start of my career (a very long time ago now!) and it’s a huge privilege to work with our dedicated volunteers and staff to support CIfA members at all stages of their career journeys.’
Alex says ‘I am excited about the opportunity to lead the Institute alongside Kate and the Board of Directors. I have seen how much the Institute has evolved since first starting work here and I am committed to seeing it succeed. Our three-year plan provides a great opportunity to enhance the offer for members and to reinforce the important role the Institute has in our sector ‘.
