National Volunteers' Week 2021

Logo, orange star and orange banner, reads 1-7 June, Volunteers' Week, A time to say thanks.

This week (1-7 June) is National Volunteers' Week- the annual celebration of volunteering and the contributions of volunteers across the UK for a huge variety of organisations. National Volunteers' Week is promoted by the NCVO, whose mission it is to champion the voluntary sector and volunteering through connecting, representing and supporting voluntary organisations.

We would like to use this week to highlight the support and experiences of our volunteers and thank them for their contributions. Without the involvement of volunteer members, CIfA and our impact would not be as great. During this last year we, like other organisations, feel more grateful than ever.

Over the next couple of days we will be sharing different things about volunteering with CIfA; facts and figures, how we support volunteers, the benefits to volunteering, ways you can get involved and testimonials from volunteers past and present. You can follow these discussions via our Twitter and Facebook.

If you are interested in volunteering with CIfA, please come along to the Q&A session on zoom at 6 pm BST on Thursday 3 June.
