The Institute has been busy since the conference in Cardiff last month, responding to a variety of consultations including,
• Historic England’s consultations on:
- Historic Environment Advice (HEA) note 1: Conservation Area Designation, Designation and Management
- Historic Environment Advice (HEA) note 2: Managing Change to Heritage Assets
- Enhanced Advisory Services
• Defra’s consultation on the Second Tranche of Marine Conservation Zones
With Welsh Government’s Historic Environment (Wales) Bill and draft supporting policy and guidance currently under consideration along with the draft Scottish Archaeology Strategy, it promises to be a busy start to the summer.
