Work is now underway on transforming the published A Standard for Pottery Studies in Archaeology (Barclay et al 2016) into an online Toolkit to form part of the suite already available - see https://www.archaeologists.net/toolkits. The project due to complete in the summer of 2024 is funded by Historic England and being undertaken by a team of consultants from Archaeology South-East with the support and endorsement of the Prehistoric Ceramic Research Group, the Study Group for Roman Pottery, and the Medieval and Later Pottery Research group. The conversion of this publication into a Toolkit format also provides the opportunity to incorporate recent developments in specialist reporting good practice complementing the series of Toolkits already available.
