Developing the Pottery Standard Toolkit

Work has completed on transforming the published A Standard for Pottery Studies in Archaeology (Barclay et al 2016) into an online Toolkit to form part of the suite already available here (weblink). Take a look here (weblink).
 The project completed in late 2024 was funded by Historic England and undertaken by a team of consultants from Archaeology South-East with the support and endorsement of the Prehistoric Ceramic Research Group, the Study Group for Roman Pottery, and the Medieval and Later Pottery Research group. The conversion of this publication into a Toolkit format also provides the opportunity to incorporate recent developments in specialist reporting good practice complementing the series of Toolkits already available.
