About DigVentures

DigVentures is a social enterprise dedicated to enabling meaningful civic participation in archaeology and nature recovery projects. As a Chartered Institute for Archaeologists Registered Organisation and recipient of the Europa Nostra European Heritage Award, our work focuses on organising communities in support of cultural and natural resource initiatives. We champion regenerative and sustainable research methods that activate individuals and communities at local, regional, and global levels.

The Strategic Projects Manager will work closely with and report directly to the Co-CEO to develop, implement, and oversee key initiatives within our integrated archaeology and nature recovery social enterprise. This dynamic role requires a unique blend of top-notch writing skills, strategic thinking, project management abilities, digital awareness and effective communication to translate innovative ideas into successful, impactful projects. We need a creative thinker excited by big ideas combined with a delivery powerhouse who can take end-to-end ownership of written work including project designs, grant applications, impact reports, presentations, and others arising. This person will be sitting within the innovation function of DV’s work, working cross-functionally to help the Co-CEO to move projects from ideation to implementation, conceptualising and executing creative, socially-relevant projects and programmes that align with DV’s mission and values.

How to Apply

We understand that roles within this industry under-represent those from low-income, marginalised and minoritised communities, and we encourage application from individuals from these backgrounds. You do not need to have a university degree for these roles: we care about your character, your experience and your ability to demonstrate leadership and practice personal growth. We are also more than happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments you might need to achieve the role whilst living with a health condition or disability - please don't hesitate to contact us at any point in the application process.
