Description

The Human Osteoarchaeology SIG invites you to join us for the first in our 'Osteobites' series of short online talks from 18:30 until 19:30 on Thursday 30 January 2025.

Join us for bite-sized talks, followed by discussions and questions, and the chance to connect with fellow OsteoSIG members.

Each session will have a focus on a specific topic, and we welcome everyone regardless of their level of pre-existing knowledge.They are open to all CIfA members and are free to attend.

This session will feature a talk by Tom Booth - Ancient DNA for Archaeologists: What it Can and Can’t Do and Why
