CIfA2025 conference dinner social

Join us for our annual conference drinks reception and dinner social at the new Indian Brewery & Taproom on Wednesday 30 April from 6.30pm.

A drinks reception will be held open to all conference attendees free of charge. This will be followed by a family-style dinner for conference attendees who have pre-paid.

Unfortunately, due to the setup in the kitchen at the venue they cannot guarantee their dishes are free of allergens. There is provision for vegetarian and vegan diners, but the kitchen cannot guarantee entirely gluten free or allergen safe menus. Please see the venue's allergen statement below.

Please note you can still register for the drinks reception, even if you are unable to partake in the dinner (provided airborne particles are not a concern).

We apologise we cannot cater for everyone this time and hope to be able to better accommodate dietary needs in future years.

Important allergen note (from the Indian Brewery Company website)

[The] food and drink are prepared in kitchens and bars where allergens such as nuts, gluten, and other common allergens are present. While [they] take precautions to reduce cross-contamination, [they] cannot guarantee that [their] dishes are completely allergen-free.

Menu items may contain traces of the following allergens:
Celery, cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, nuts, peanuts, sesame seeds, soya, sulphur dioxide, and other potential allergens

Guests with severe allergies are advised to exercise caution, and we regret that we cannot recommend any menu items for individuals with severe allergies or intolerances.

Guests with allergies will be asked to liaise with the venue directly to assess whether it would be appropriate to eat there. Please email conference@archaeologists.net for their contact information). If a guest determines it would be acceptable, the venue will request a waiver to be signed.
