About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a successful and well-established historic environment and archaeology team. You will contribute to a diverse range of stimulating and challenging projects, while developing your career and expertise in a supportive and collaborative multi disciplinary consultancy environment. This position is well suited to a heritage professional with established consultancy experience, seeking to further develop their expertise and take on a broader range of responsibilities. Some travel is required including staying overnight at different locations, to meet the requirements of projects.
What you’ll be doing
• Providing advice on historic environment matters to a broad client base, including the energy, residential, commercial, infrastructure, private and public sectors.
• Contributing to projects that involve buried archaeology, historic landscapes, built heritage, and the management of fieldwork projects.
• Producing desk-based assessments and heritage statements, specification of archaeological mitigation measures.
• Delivering technical advice to clients and colleagues.
• Supporting to the wider historic environment team within TEP on both strategic and project specific tasks.
What we are looking for
• A qualified heritage professional with strong knowledge of UK historic environment legislation, proven experience in desk-based assessments/heritage statements, and the ability to give clear professional advice.
• Strong consultancy and project management skills.
