After completing my degree in Roman archaeology in 2010, I began my career in fieldwork with Cotswold Archaeology, later gaining further experience at the Museum of London, Oxford Archaeology and the University of Cambridge. My background spans fieldwork, environmental archaeology and consultancy, both in the UK and Ireland. I then worked remotely as a freelance consultant while living abroad, and during this time I founded a startup offering online resources in archaeology, history and science; this was initially aimed at the Asian education market but today it operates globally. I currently work as a consultant with CFA Archaeology and particularly enjoy working on renewable energy projects.

After several years in the profession, I felt it was the right time to apply for CIfA membership, something I had not previously pursued. I am pleased to have taken that step now. I am a strong advocate for ethics in archaeology, which I view as central to the work we do. This aligns with CIfA’s core values, particularly in ensuring that all archaeologists have a voice within the sector.
