Team Leaders (PS / PO / SPO)
Lead projects, supervise teams, and deliver high-quality fieldwork in a fast-paced commercial environment.
We’re looking for people who are:
- Confident leading fieldwork and reporting
- Strong communicators and problem-solvers
- Comfortable managing teams, clients, and site challenges
- Organised, adaptable, and proactive
You’ll also need:
- Commercial archaeology experience
- Knowledge of relevant legislation/frameworks
- Flexibility to travel and work away
- A full clean driving licence
SSSTS/SMSTS and CIfA membership are desirable.
Salary: £30,115 – £38,567 DOE
Project Assistants
Perfect for those with some experience — or those looking to start a career in archaeology.
You’ll:
- Work on varied field projects
- Develop skills through hands-on experience
- Receive structured training and support
No experience? No problem.
We provide CIfA-accredited development plans and BAJR Skills Passport training.
Salary:
£28,381.91 – £29,680 DOE
£26,737.15 trainee rate (6–12 month training plan)
