The Local Government Network is for any CIfA members working in local government, national park authorities, or local authority museums at all career stages. This will include planning advisors, service managers, HER officers, museum curators, fieldwork staff, and more. Activities undertaken by the group may also be relevant to those working in development-led archaeology who regularly work with local authorities. The Group will also seek to engage archaeological professionals who work with local authority staff and with professionals outside the sector.
