Resources for Registered Organisations

This is where Responsible Post Holders can find useful resources. It is a developing page so if you have any ideas or we are missing anything please get in touch.

Please use the dropdown menus and links below to view.

Annual update

Every three years your organisation must complete a Registered Organisation application form and have a CIfA inspection. We will notify you when your inspection is due.

During the other two years you must:

  1. Return an annual update form. We will be in touch with a direct link to the form. It requests an update on any major changes to the previous registration application, and a summary of improvements made with reference to any conditions and recommendations from the previous registration.
  2. Pay your subscription fee (registered Organisations pay an annual fee based on the financial turnover of their historic environment operations)
  1. Update your organisations contact details
Responsible Post Holder (RPH) meetings

RPH's have access to recordings of previous RPH meetings. Please get in touch to request a link.

It is the opinion of the Registration Committee (Organisations) that ROs should be supporting and promoting individual accreditation as part of their duties under 1.14 and 5.8 of the Code of conduct and that individual accreditation is an assurance that staff are competent and committed to maintaining their CPD.

If you would like any posters or leaflets in hard copy, please get in touch.

Guidance for the accreditation application process are available on the Join page for each grade. If you have any questions, or would like to request an application workshop for your staff, please get in touch with the membership team who will be happy to help.
