- TA126: Non-intrusive approaches. This issue will focus on the growing range of non-intrusive approaches that can be used on archaeological projects. Developments in technology and innovation have widened the options for using these approaches as an evaluation tool, either as a precursor or in combination with necessary intrusive works. What new approaches have you successfully employed? Deadline 1 August 2025.
- TA125: Social value. Articles are invited that explore the terms ‘social value’ and ‘public benefit’, as well as illustrated examples of projects (development-led or not) that have made an impact in either area. While the terms merit further discussion, we consider that projects with social value will have demonstrated a positive impact on local community, local or individual culture/identity, social inclusion, social interaction, health/wellbeing, education, training, local environment or economy. Examples of offering ‘public benefit’ will more likely have focussed on the dissemination of and engagement in the results of archaeological work itself. Deadline 1 April 2025.
